28th May 2021

Hi everyone,

Let me start off by introducing myself My names Miss Parkar and I am new to St. Clement’s. I work in nursery with Miss Peedell. I've had a lovely couple of weeks getting to know all the children at the school as well as parents and staff.  I want to thank everyone for such a warm welcome.

Recently, in nursery we have been reading a book called "Yucky worms" by Vivian French. This book has really changed our perception on worms, especially mine as well as promoting amazing discussion in our nursery class. Nursery children have learnt some fun yet fascinating facts all about wriggly worms.

I must say the children in nursery have turned into worm experts. I can assure you they'll have all the answers to your worm boggling questions...

Did you know worms don't have eyes?
How many hearts do you think worms have?

Ohhh not forgetting we even made our very own wormery, how amazing is that! We had so much fun.

Before I go, I just want to mention how all the children at St. Clement’s have worked super hard this term, keep up the good work, you're all superstars!

Take care over half term and remember that school starts back on Tuesday 8th June at normal time.

Thank you for your continuous support. Please take care and continue to stay safe.
