18th March 2016

Hello everyone!

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit more about myself. My name is Mrs Constantinou and I work in year 2 with Mrs Akhtar. This is my fifth year at St. Clement’s Academy and I have always been made to feel very welcome by all the children, parents and school staff. I am the phonics lead and I love helping children to improve their reading. If you would like any tips on improving your child’s reading, I am more than happy to help.

Yesterday, we all went to Aston Parish Church for the Easter Service. It was really enjoyable to hear the children retelling the Easter story and everyone sang beautifully.

Next week on Thursday it is our Community Open Day. The school is closed for teaching but you have the opportunity to come along, meet with your child’s teachers and have a look at the work achieved this year in school. Don’t forget that you must come in to get your attendance mark. There will be lots of fun events organised during the day. It will be a good day so come along and join in with the fun!

Have a happy and safe weekend. See you next week.
