25th January 2019

Hi everyone,

My name is Miss Khatun and I am a SEN Teaching Assistant. From the start of this half term I have been working alongside Miss Hughes in year 4, I am thoroughly enjoying being back in class. As part of the school’s SEN team I also work closely with our SENCo to ensure that we have the relevant support for our vulnerable children by delivering interventions across KS2 supporting children’s learning and helping them achieve their personalised targets.

I have been at St. Clement’s since 2013 and love the community spirit that surrounds the school, children and their families which is why I became a Governor in 2014.

I am currently reading a book called Barnaby Brocket to our year 4 pupils. Reading aloud to children builds many important foundational skills, introduces vocabulary, provides a model of fluent, expressive reading and helps children recognise what reading for pleasure is all about.

Wishing you all a safe and happy weekend!
