10th September 2021

Welcome back everyone,

I hope everyone had a great summer. It was so lovely to see all the children and their families back at school this week. Everyone looked so smart and eager to learn. We have had a good week, spending lots of time thinking about diversity, our school Christian values, our personal aims, and goals as well as building relationships with friends, new classmates and new teachers.

I would like to say a special welcome to our new Nursery and Reception children and their families. It is great to see new additions to our St Clement’s family.

On Wednesday 23rd September we will be arranging our annual meet the teacher session. As we are still not allowing parents into the building, this will be via a phone call. It is an opportunity for you to chat with your child’s teacher and find out about the expectations of their new year group and how your child is settling in. A letter will be sent home to arrange times.

You may have seen our new site manager on site, his name is Mr Allen. He replaces Mr Tate who retired in August. He will share a little more about himself in next week’s newsletter.

Thank you for bearing with us this week while we trial different ways for some of our routines and procedures. We are trying to ensure we follow current guidance whilst allowing for slightly more freedoms around the site. Please remember parents should only visit the school office with an appointment or after speaking with a member of staff.

I can’t wait to see all the wonderful things our pupils achieve this year and all the fun they will have in their journey to success.

Have a great weekend
