13th November 2015

Hello Everyone,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, I am Miss McCausland and I am the year 6 teacher and Maths Lead. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the welcoming and friendly staff and children at St. Clement’s and am looking forward to continue working with such enthusiastic learners.

This week as a school we took time out of our day on Remembrance Day to think about the people who have lost their lives due to war, during two minutes silence. The children were extremely respectful and this was very pleasing to see.

As a school we have also taken part in raising money for ‘Children in Need’ today. Children and staff arrived to school in something spotty and have donated money which will be donated to the charity. It was very pleasing to see all the children that have participated in order to raise money for the charity.

Next week we are all looking forward to taking part in ‘Science Week’ where children will be exploring a range of science topics and investigating over the week. Friday next week we will also be doing various activities to cover our Anti-Bullying Day.

Have a great weekend!

Miss McCausland
