Happy Friday Everyone,

It’s been a really busy term since coming back to school in September and the children and staff have worked their socks off. Everyone deserves a really good rest and time to have fun and enjoy spending time together with family or other important people and loved ones. I can't believe that Christmas day is only just over a week away. The children have really been living our Christian values this term. The worship team in particular lived out the value of service last Friday during our Community Lunch, where we invited locals in to share lunch and a spot of Christmas bingo with us. The visitors said how much they enjoyed the company of our pupils and how well-mannered, polite and helpful they were. Our local councillor was also there and he too praised the children for their conduct.

This week we have been reminded of the true meaning behind Christmas with our early years and key stage one Nativity which was fantastic. We also had the whole school carol service and a special service in school on Thursday led by the new vicar of Aston Parish - Rev Fiona Gregson. Our value this term has been HOPE. It is important to remember the season of Christmas as Jesus Christ our hope for a better future.

It has been lovely to be able to invite parents, carers and visitors back into school to celebrate these precious moments with us once again and to see so many of you here.

I wish you all a very merry and blessed Christmas and look forward to welcoming you all back, usual time on Wednesday 4th January 2023!
