16th June 2016

Hello everyone,

My name is Mr Michels and I am the Year 5 teacher, although I’m currently spending some time working in Year 1, so if you see me in Key Stage 1 please say hello. For those of you who don’t know me, this is my first year at St. Clement’s Academy and over the course of the year I’ve had the opportunity to teach in three different classes. This has meant I’ve been really lucky in getting to know the brilliant children right across the school, who’ve all made me feel really welcome.

This week has been super busy at St. Clement’s. To start the week on Monday the school were lucky enough to have a drum workshop run by Rhythmicity. It went extremely well with all the children really enjoying themselves and making some great rhythms and beats! If you check the school blog you’ll be sure to see some photos of the day. We’ve also had phonics testing in year one and an acting workshop in reception. To finish the week we will be having sports day tomorrow, which I’m sure will be another great day. Please make sure you send your children in prepared for the day, you can find more information to the right.

Have a great weekend and see you next week.

Mr Michels

Year 5 Teacher.
