Ofsted Report

18th January 2019

Dear Parents & carers,

As you will be aware, the school had an Ofsted inspection in the last week of December and I am pleased to tell you that the inspection report is now available on the school website and will be on the Ofsted website in the next couple of days.

The staff and myself are delighted to tell you that the school has been once again graded as ‘good’.

The letter recognises that the school continues to provide a good standard of education and care for our children and highlights many areas of strength across the school, recognising that we know our school community well and have clearly identified appropriate areas for continuing improvements.

It was particularly pleasing that they recognised ‘staff at all levels are committed to providing a safe and caring environment for pupils so that they thrive personally, socially and academically, and that we have worked successfully to build strong and positive relationships with parents. As a result, pupils enjoy school and parents are happy with the quality of education that their children receive.’

I feel that this is reflective of the whole team of school and BDMAT staff and governors who have displayed a fantastic level of hard work, dedication and commitment in order to ensure that we provide the best possible opportunities for the children of St Clement’s.  I would like to thank everyone involved, including the parents that took time to speak to the inspector on the day, and to all the parents in our school community who offer their support in many ways throughout the year. Without your support our job would be much more difficult. We look forward to continuing to build on this very positive report and to ensure we continue to provide the very best possible education and care, both now and in the future.

To read the full report, please visit the school website or if you would like a paper copy,  ask at the office.

Once again, may I thank everyone involved in the inspection itself, the staff, governors and especially the children who shone like the stars that they are.

Best Wishes, Miss Shryane
