16th September 2022

Welcome back to school. It has already been a wonderful but sad start to the year. It has been wonderful to see the children’s lovely smiling faces and everyone looking so smart in their uniform. The children are enjoying getting to know their new teachers and doing a range of activities all about being unique and our diverse community.

Obviously, we have also been doing some activities to commemorate our dearly departed Queen Elizabeth II. We have looked at how she encapsulated our Christian values of dignity, humility, service and hope. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at the sad time.

This year we hope to welcome parents back into school more often. Keep an eye out for invites to workshops, star pupil assemblies, class assemblies and coffee mornings.

At the parent meet and greet evening, we will be asking for parent/carer feedback on ideas that can help us improve our service to you, our community. We will also be putting a shout out for any parents who have skills/passions they would be willing/able to share in school e.g. supporting after school clubs/enrichment activities/ sharing cultural heritage etc. We would really like to get all of you more involved in your child’s education this year.

I hope you have a lovely weekend. See you Tuesday, normal time.
