Year 5 trip to BMAG

18th September 2015

As part of our Year 5 Tudor topic we visited BMAG to spend time in the Art Gallery to look at the way in which artists from the Pre -Raphaelite movement painted portraits. We will be looking more in depth at Hans Holbein an artist that painted many famous pictures of Henry VIII.

The children were using their knowledge of shading and proportion to capture the likeness of the portraits they chose to sketch.
