The Anchor News - 22nd September 2017

22nd September 2017

Hello and welcome to the weekly newsletter.

My name is Miss Akers and I am the school's Acting Pastoral Manager and Deputy DSL. I have been at St. Clement's for many years and am still amazed by all the fabulous achievements of our pupils and families.

As part of my role, I deal with issues relating to attendance, behaviour, families, housing, parent support and engagement, children's safety and community work. I also teach Personal, Social, Health and Emotional Education lessons (PSHE) across the school, where children learn about keeping safe, making friends and managing emotions, as well as a variety of other things.

I am also in charge of the St. Clement's Stay and Play, which takes place on Wednesdays from 9am - 10am. This is a great session for children and parents and I would like to thank all the families who support this weekly.

We have had a busy start to this academic year and the children have been working hard, learning new things and having fun! Remember to read the newsletter weekly, so you can keep up to date with important dates and announcements, but most importantly you can see the amazing achievements of the pupils of St. Clement's C. of E. Academy.

Miss Akers,

Acting Pastoral Manager
