4th December 2020

Hello everyone,

Firstly, to all our new parents/carers, welcome to our school.

My name is Mrs Ajmal (Naz) and I am the Office Manager at St. Clement’s.  I work alongside Miss San to ensure the smooth and effective running of the school office.  I hope all parents/carers feel that any matters/queries are dealt with to your satisfaction.

This year has been very different to other years where we have not been able to welcome you face-to-face and we are hoping and praying that this pandemic will pass very soon.

A quick shout out to all pupils, you are all doing a fantastic job by sticking to COVID rules, keeping your distance and regular handwashing – so well done to you all!

This week in school has been busy with all staff and pupils getting into the festive spirit and decorating their classrooms.  The school looks lovely and sparkly!  We have also had a huge 13ft Christmas tree delivered for our hall and the staff had a lot of fun decorating it on Wednesday after school.  The pupils were very surprised when they came to school in the morning – have a look at the finished result below!

I have been asked what my all-time favourite book is and I can say without hesitation that it is, ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S Lewis. It is about 4 children who find a magical and mystical land called Narnia in the back of their wardrobe! My favourite character in the book is the brave lion, Aslan!  I recommend for you all to read it when you get a chance.

Have a lovely weekend and continue to stay safe – only 2 more weeks to go.
