23rd October 2015

Hi everyone!

It has been a busy first half-term - one that has been full of hard work but also fun! The children have settled in well with their new teachers and all of the new staff to the school have also found a great welcome from their fellow staff and the wider community. We also have some parent volunteers who are coming into the Academy and making a really important and helpful contribution. A big “Thank you!” to all of them.

We would also like to thank all of the parents who support the work of the Academy by ensuring that their children are in school, on time every day, dressed smartly in their uniforms. These things are key to helping your children to take full advantage of the learning opportunities given to them and, with their uniforms, feel part of the wonderful community and family we are at St Clement’s.

Please remember to also support your children in our Celebration Assemblies on Monday afternoons. These are where we celebrate the successes our pupils have achieved in their work, PE, behaviour and attendance. It is important that we acknowledge these successes and it is always good to see those parents who are able to attend.

Please try, if you are coming, to get here on time for the beginning of the assembly - 2:40pm – as then you will be able to get a seat at the back of the hall. We look forward to seeing you.

Have a relaxing and safe half-term.
