2nd October 2020

Hello everyone!

For those of you who don’t know, my name is Miss Khatun and this year I am teaching Year 6. It has been wonderful to see all the children settling back into school. I have been impressed with how the children at St Clement’s have maintained excellent standards of behaviour and are working hard to stay safe by remembering to wash their hands regularly.

In Year 6, we have been immersed in the Victorians! We are enjoying reading “Street Child” by Bertie Doherty and following Jim Jarvis’s adventures. After a very successful Victorian Day where Year 6 wrote on slates with chalk and had Victorian style arithmetic lessons, it's fair to say that they prefer modern day school.

Have a lovely weekend and don’t forget photo day on Monday.  For more information see below.
