12th April 2019

Hi Folks,

Well it’s the end of another term. It’s has flown by super-fast. The children have been working really hard and there has been lots going on in all classes.

The school is looking really bright with our beautifully decorated class crosses in the waiting room and the eggs on our hope tree, as well as those colourful Easter bonnets and ’eggstra’ special eggs, The children have also been working hard on some other skills during enrichment and the Spring Concert was yet another success. We have so many talented children in school! We look forward to offering another range of activities the children can try after Easter, if any parents have a skill they would like to share with the children, or would like to play a supporting role in any way, please come and talk with me, we would love to involve our parents in any way we can.

The holidays will be a busy time for year 2 and year 6 who have lots of homework to help them prepare for their SAT’s in the summer term. Hopefully the weather will continue to get better and everyone can get outside and enjoy some fresh air.

The value of this half term has been Forgiveness and the children have been thinking, discussing and demonstrating this really successfully all term. We remember this value particularly over Easter when we remember the sacrifice made by God so that sins may be forgiven.

Wishing you a peaceful Easter and see you in two weeks.
