The Anchor News - 1st March 2019

1st March 2019

Hello,

I hope everyone had a lovely half term break and are ready for an exciting end to the Spring term. We have many celebrations this half term, as well as introducing new ideas to the Academy. We will see the Academy take part in Book Week, Mother's Day Celebrations, Easter Service and an Enrichment Showcase. Also we are introducing the 'National Breakfast Programme' to the Academy, meaning all children will have the opportunity to have a 'Bagel' at the start of the school day. This will wake their brains and give their bodies the vital energy they need to learn.

For those of you who do not know me or much about my role here at St. Clement's, my name is Miss Akers and I have been at St. Clement's for 14 years. As the Pastoral Manager I have responsibility for attendance, safeguarding, parent support, community engagement, as well as many other areas. If you need support, help with documents, behaviour management strategies, housing or just a friendly chat then come in and see me. You will also find me at Free @ Last every Wednesday between 9:15am - 10:15am, term time only, running our St, Clement's Community Stay and Play - come along and join the fun.
