Key Stage 1 (KS1)

  • Mrs Akhtar

    Teaching Assistant

Hi my name is Mrs Akhtar and I have been a Teaching Assistant at St Clement’s School for just over 13 years now. It is a pleasure to work with amazing staff and children and I am still amazed by the beautiful smiles that greet me in the mornings.

Being a teaching assistant is both an exciting and challenging however, it is very rewarding too. I have experience in working with children one to one, in small groups and as a whole class. Also, I have had experience in working with children whose English is not their first language, which is ideal because I am multilingual.

My goal is to help each child learn by whatever method he or she learns best. I also want them to be so excited about their learning that they'll want the desire to learn more. I firmly believe that everybody learns every day and life itself consists of a life-long learning journey.

  • Miss Fieldhouse

Hello, my name is Miss Fieldhouse.
When I was young, I wanted to be a vet because i love animals and i wanted to help them but being a teacher is an amazing job, getting to watch children grow into confident and independent learners. Seeing children achieve is something that makes me very proud. I love working at St. Clements because I love to the staff and children are lovely and everyone is very welcoming.
Children enjoy being in my class because we have lots of fun and we learn about different things. When I am not at school, I like to bake cakes and biscuits. I also like to go for walks and listen to music. One of my favourite books is The Tiger who came to tea.
If I had a superpower, it would be to fly so i could visit my family.

  • Miss Parkar

Hello, my name is Ms Parkar. When I was young, I wanted to be an air steward so I could travel the world. I love working at St. Clements because I work with amazing people and children. Children enjoy being in my classroom as I am very approachable and always on hand if they need me. When I am not at school, I like to go to the gym, cinema and spend quality time with my family and friends. One of my favourite books is The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe by CS Lewis.
If I had a superpower, it would be to make the world a better place because with everything going on in the world we need more peace and harmony.
