Representation within the school

At St. Clement’s C. of E. Academy the children's champions enjoy a responsible role and feel empowered to use this to represent the school.

Each class elect 2 champions to represent them from those that chose to stand for the position. These elected champions present class views and raise issues with senior leaders/management and their peers within school. The children's champions also take on initiatives and projects on behalf of their peers, and are involved in the planning and implementation of events and fundraisers.

The champions help bridge the gap between teachers, governor’s, parents and their peers. It is a chance for the champions to have the opportunity to let adults know their feelings and opinions about things that affect them. They champions also have the opportunity to have a say about decisions and changes within St. Clement’s, playing an active role in making their school a better place to be a part of.
